beginner mods??

beginner mods??

i have a 2k1 5-speed. i'm not going to a race track but i do want more speed and power. i dont want my max sounding like a truck either. i'm thingking about a mid pipe with an injen intake and a muffler. any suggestions??

Go for it...but maybe you should go with the Frankencar because it gives you the most power.

If you're going to do the intake, go with the Berk. Bryan provides great customer service and in contrast to Frankencar, you'll probably get your intake some time this year. Check the Group Deal forum...there is a deal on the Berk right now.

Berk Intake and definately the first mod should be a Y pipe for your year maxima.

Get a y-pipe. Even a catback exhaust won't give you much hp.

i read about y pipes are only for racing and not street legal. is that true?

the y-pipe is the best mod for your money....you see alot bigger gains wit the y-pipe than the cat-back.....frankencar intake is also cheap and shows nice gains.....it also sound awesome on WOT...peace

if you want pretty, get an aftermarket intake.

i personally bought the budget y-pipe....its the cheap, its also stainless steel and mandrel bent..so i think its just as good or better than the cattman or any other y-pipe.........
