Sylvania Silverstar turning signal Bulb

hey everyone,

Sylvania has this silverstar turning signal bulb that has the bulb tinted over the bulb but when it lights up its amber. I think its really cool looking but is anyone out there using them. Does the bulb have a good lifetime. also i'm having a hard time finding anywhere online that sells them.. any suggustions??

i have it. yes it lights up amber but....you can see the blue tint during the day so i dont really like the way it looks. i want something that just looks clear but cant find one

i have a pair that i dont need anymore since i installed the 2K2 HIDS. $18 shipped since they will cost you about $26 shipped.

you may want to check out some from pep boys. i got a pair for front and back with the silver paint but they still blink amber. it makes the signals look real clean in my opinion. there should be some pics on my homepage and they were cheap and i have had them for about a year now. i think apc makes them.

I bought some chrome bulbs off of ebay that light up amber. They give the turn signals a nice look when the lights are off.

I have these bulbs in my front turn signals. They are bright chrome when they are off but blink amber. Plus they sell for $3.50 each....a little better than paying $26 for two.

You can buy those bulbs from Autolumination...I've spent $100s on that site...all of their stuff is 100% top quality. The owner stands behind his stuff too...if any of the LEDs ever go out he will replace them.

Thanks guys for your help. I think i'll pick up the silver bulbs from pepboys cuz it'll probably be cheaper.

I tried the Sylvania's in my wifes 2003, but I didn't care for them. I'm going to go with the PIAA's next week, at least they will be a closer match to her HID's
