HID Brackets

Here is some food for thought. For the people that do not live in the Northeast where the HID's are getting stolen, and would like to install the brackets on their own. The part number that you need to get is 26040-6Y325. I believe that this will include the left and right side bracket.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could have sworn another member on this board called Nissan, and was told that if anyone anywhere in the US goes to a dealer with the letter sent to the NE customers, they would install the brackets for free....

Well, if you got a copy of the letter, please post it. I called up my dealer today to see how much is HID anti-theft kit per TSB - and they could not even find a part number for a while - they said they have never ordered one ......... I guess it's not a problem in Midwest....

Here is the Datadots letter we got on the east coast:

This was technically a recall... So if the dealer says you have to pay for anything, call Nissan and complain.

The reason I posted the part number is that everyone can go to the dealer prepared with all the info that they would need.
