Keep intake or sell it?

I just got a Berk intake and I want to know how many of you all blew your MAF after putting on a aftermarket intake. I just want to know if its worth it to put it on or should I save myself the trouble and just sell it.

If your MAF part# is A600, your ok. If it's anything else, go in to your Nissan dealership and get the hesitation TSB done and they will replace your maf with the A600. I've had mine on for over a year with no problems.

I have a 50 mile round trip to work and I don't want to have to call AAA to come pick me up because my MAF blew.

You can still drive your car with the MAF blown. It just won't drive fast. Anyway, it's only happened to a small amout of people. Do as I said above. No one to my knowledge has blown the A600 MAF. Also, if you purchased the midpipe, don't install a brace. It is thought that one problem is the brace holds the intake tight, but when the engine goes, the torque is very strong putting too much stress on the intake assembly.

Trey- I just went to take a look and I did not see any numbers anywhere on the MAF sensor. Can someone tell us where it is?

It's on the back side facing your cabin I believe. I just had it apart this weekend and can't remember for sure, but I am 99% sure it's on the back side. It's medium sized raised black plastic.

guys you are risking the Maf to go just by driving....intakes have nothing to with it....it happens on stock cars...it happened to Alty's and Murano's too...
according to the service manager at my neighborhood dealership... it was a bad batch of MAF's Nissan had and majority were updated ....

Hey manny, I somewhat agree with you, but i personally, have never heard of a stock setup blowing a maf. (i'm sure its happened) but everytime i hear about a blown maf on here, there is also a intake involved.

I dunno
