Front Passenger Noise

Hi All,

I have a request to all who have ever experience this noise that I cannot source out. This noise is coming from the front passenger side strut/engine area. Noise comes from driving over even the slightest uneven road at any speed. Also, when the car is stationary and in "N" (Neutral), i can turn the steering wheel left and right very quickly (from centre position) and the noise appears again on the passenger side.

As per some threads with similar sounding sounds, I have attempted a passenger front strut bearing replacement (no change to the noise) and just today, replacement of my front stabalizer bushings. As I read on the .Org before that the sound emitting from the passenger area was actually caused by the driver side bushing. But.. that effort was wasted.. as the noise still appears.

I'm lost for words and just loosing faith in the max. It's been a couple of months like this without any possible fix. The best 'temporary' fix although is turning up the Bose radio until the Sub starts rattling. Then my focus changes to the sub..

Anyway, I'm desperate for any suggestions..So to all .Org'ers, I need help on this one..

Thanks..

Did you check the strut when you replaced the bearing?

Yes, we inspected the strut and could not find any wear nor leaks that were visible. With the car parked i tested the front strut and everything sounded fine when compressed, no noises. Also, this noise it makes is like a 'fluttering' noise made when you have a loose piece of metal side by side to each other and you start to shake/vibrate it.

We've inspected all the stabalizer bar links, tie-rods, and now i wonder whether there's anything else in the engine compartment that could cause this sound.? or is it my strut?

Much appreciated..
