Shaken and Just can't put my finger on it...

[B]Been to 3 quality tire and wheel places.... Everyone says that my wheels are perfectly round, and my tires are roadforced balanced fine. I shimmy, pretty much all the time, but noticeable 55-78 MPH, and it is P*ss*ng me off to no end. I feel its coming from right rear, but not sure. I am starting to think that it is something with the car. You would think that it is balance, but 3 wheel and tire guys say not even. This was going on before I lowered, but after new wheels and tires. I have even replaced a wheel and Bridgestone SO3 in an attempt to eliminate the issue, to no avail. I have Lugs that go through, I am suuposedly hub-centric. Anyone got any ideas? I hate to think its a bent spindle or axle, or some other unhappy vehicle damage. I am going to Nissan to have the CD playe replaced under warranty ( if your CD shows an error in the face, forget it ) and want to know what I should ask them to look for since noone else has found anything, but they are Nissan. Also, When I drive quickly in reverse, my '02 emits some kind of frickin noise that none of my other Maxima's ever did. Its weird, like a scratchy growl. WTF? I dont think it is damaging, just dont know WTF it is ...Reverse gear? Say it ain't so! Any ideas are appreciated, thanks much in advance.

It could be your rotors...

There's a possibility that the shaking you feel could be from warped rotors. If they're slightly warped, you'll feel it when you brake. If it's a medium to strong warp, you'll feel it when you drive. You should notice your steering wheel shake slightly when driving over 50 mph. For some reason, nissan rotors warp easily. I thought my wheels were out of balance & I had them checked. I was told that wasn't the problem. I just happened to go to the local nissan dealership to get the wind noise tsb done when they test drove it and noticed my shimmy. They then proceeded to "turn my rotors". That cleared it up.
