Replacing Driver's side mirror - bad luck :(

Hey all-

I've got an '01 Maxima SE, that I love to death... However I was jumping on the freeway here in socal and soccer mom pulled too wide around the 2 lane onramp and forced me into the uprigth plastic tubes on some of the ramps here. So with just my luck, it shattered my drivers side mirror and scratched up the side of my baby. Does anyone have any tips on replacing just the glass on this? The housing seems perfectly intact still, just the glass is broken. Are there any resources online or does anyone have any links for this?

Thanks everyone!

There are four hooks on the other side of the side door mirror glass that attach onto the mirror assembly. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver wrapped in cloth to pull the hooks off. Two hooks are along the bottom of the glass and the other two are along the top.

To replace it, just pop on the new glass.

Good luck.

Peace.
