engine misfire

got a free code check at autozone for engine misfire...
this is intermittent...
what should i check or do to fix it?
don't want to get hit by the nissan service dept.

Ok, I had this happeneing to me just before my MAF went out. I do not know if these two problems are related, but I havent had the misfire since putting in a new MAF. Take it for what it is worth...
