Tim, we can possibly work out a deal with you and Maxima.org on the exhaust.
5Zigen's factory requires us to make a minimum 25 pcs order for them to make the exhaust w/o a tooling charge, but we do not want to proceed with an exhaust without guarantees that it will sell.

My coworker proposed that the Maxima owners interested in a 5Zigen Fireball exhaust all go through one dealer, possibly paying a $100 non-refundable deposit. If and when 15 orders is reached, we can go ahead and start the prototype process and can start manufacturing the exhaust from that point on. The $100 deposit is to ensure that the dealer that is handling this transaction doesn't get screwed over by owners that back out on the deal, and also to guarantee that the exhaust won't become dead stock in our warehouse.

Please take this information back to Maxima.org and/or the mailing lists/forums, and let me know the general reaction. FYI, I am a part of 240SXCCA and am a very active leader in the SoCal region.

non refundable??? I have been thinking about a Stillen or Universal muffler, and might be interested, but non-refundable???

 

Hey if this deal goes thru and anyone has a 5th gen SE muffler they want to sell, I'm interested and think there are other 4th geners interested too so that may offset your costs.

 

So far only one person is interested, come on guys dont' you want an exhaust system for your 5th gen max???
