please list. this is in contrast to the springs thread. also, what is a good combo of struts/springs for performance?

The amount of drop I get doesn't affect my decision on springs. I want performance, but but something that is also comfortable. I read that JIC coilovers are at the top when it comes to suspension. why is this?
