clock light question

Can anyone see their clock in the daylight / especially on a sunny day?

The light seems so dull, any way to upgrade the bulb / led?

Removal tips for clock to make necessary bulb change?

Thanks in Advance

mine is bright and nice, even in sunlight with the lights on. it's not, well, big time bright but it is easily readable under all conditions.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the wire to cut is the red wire with white tracer. This seems to be the positive side of the illumination wire for most of the accessories in the 5th gener Max's. I should have checked, because I just installed a blue LED for the alarm in the clock, along with blue LED's in the switches.
