Man...too many CF haters out there (not directed at mytek). I'm not sure if I would do it my car, but I think CF hoods can look good on ANY color car...it just depends on how you fit it into your color scheme...

I agree 100%, what do you think about what i mentioned about the grill and the lights. I think it would flow pretty well.

I think AE lights look good on their own...maybe you can do an HID bixenon retrofit into them?

The stock grille looks fine too, although there's an aftermarket one for 00-01's I really like (I think it's the streetscenes??

I saw an Evo 8 in a color similar to yours with a carbon fiber hood today and it looked hot as hell. I say go for it.

i know i like the street scenes, but i think the hood would look better with the stock grill. Don't worry though she's get a new paint job this summer so once i decide which color i'm going to decide whether to get the grill or not.

Which one are you thinking of getting? The invader or the stock replica? I'm seriously considering putting vader on my glacier pearl, which I think would look nice with blacked out headlight housing. But I'm afraid that instead of a clean look I'll get a junkyard wannabe.

i'm planning on getting the oem fitt. The invader style only looks good if you back it up with an agressive bodykit and rims(IMO). check out woo's max his looks real clean.

why are you getting a new paint job chris??? By the way, if you get carbon fiber hood, you should get some AE headlights, which I can convert yours to AE headlights, it takes a few hours though.. Also you need to buy some mod's first, and quite making your max look more aggressive...

I already got the ae headllights. I'm trying to get the hood before I get my car painted. I got to get this damn car painted in a couple of months because that is really the only time my freind can paint it. Don't worry frost I got the Berk intake on and the warpspeed y pipe and hopefully the b pipe will be on this weekend.

I know 500 dollars is alot of money, but is insignificant compared to the amount of money I have spent so far in the past 4 months on my car. Might as well go big or go home
