my car has been in the garage for several days now while i've been trying to research the reason why my car is acting up. if someone can give me an idea what it may be, it will be most helpful.

my '00 max se with 61k miles:
pulsates at start-up and revs similarily
exhaust smells like eggs (well, sort of)

i've about had it and i'm thinking of taking the car into the dealer.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

the rotten eggs smell is usually a sign of a bad 02 sensor. That could also explain the pulsation....Replace the 02 sensor and see if that fixes it..

 

My car has very little pulsation, im not sure if it was there when i first bought it, and as far as the bad egg smell, yeah i got that too, youll prob notice a drop in gas milage you get. I havent had the money to replace my o2 sensor but thats what i was told also
