PIAA Xtreme White - 4150K or 4000K?

I'm out cruising the web looking for high beam replacements and am confused by what PIAA shows on their website, and what I see for sale on the web. PIAA says their Xtreme White 9005 bulb has a 4150K temp rating. But, I go to EBay and other places and I see the bulbs w/ that name showing they have a 4000K temp rating. What gives? Did PIAA recently change the color rating of the bulb and I'm finding the old inventory out there on the web?

If anyone has a recommendation on where to get them, and what I should be able to get them for ($$$), I'd appreciate the heads up.

As you can see now in my new sig, I have Xtreme White Fogs.

They are 4150K and look good.

Yes they do, however, my question is about the high beams, not the fogs (BTW what wattage are yours because they are very nice).

Anyone know why there seems to be two different temp ratings on the high beam bulbs out there for the same item (PIAA Xtreme White)

wow that pic in ur sig looks HOT....i wish mine looked like them...oh for future reference...do NOT buy the HILITE "7000k" bulbs off of ebay...my bulbs blew so i needed cheap replacements fast so i got them the H4s and H3s for $25 and i put them in today...the fogs are awesome..55watts and all but the headlights are CRAP..they're only 60watts compared to my previous 100watts and i cant see anything with them...the color is nice and white but its too dim...now i need to go buy some PIAA Xtreme whites..=(

The Xtreme Whites run at 4150K for both High Beam and low beam. PIAA also makes the Super Xtremes that is 4200K on low beam and 3950K on high beam

Why would the low beam be stronger then the high beam...I know the numbers are right but why would they make em that way?

If you are looking for the best H4 bulbs, the Philips Vision Plus are the best in the business. They are stock wattage, but illuminate better than any bulb on the market. Much cheaper than the PIAA extreme white bulbs. Do an internet search and you will see the great reviews. There is also a great write up on HIDFORUM.COM. I have tested them all and these are the best.

Are the high beams H4's or 9005's? The PIAA Bulb Application thing on their website says 9005's

Also, I see now on the PIAA website that the 9005's are 4000K rated and the H4's are 4150K rated.
