Trunk torsion bar replacement??

I just added a spoiler to my GLE. The kit came with new torsion bars to compensate for the added weight of the spoiler. Does anyone know how to replace these??? Do I just pry them off ?? Is it easier with the trunk open or closed?? Are they going to take my head off when I release them??
Thanks ..

dont' know but I would say definitely with the trunk open because if it was closed it would be basically be torqued and be compressed if you know what I mean. Have you tried to see if the trunck will work properly and hold the trunk up with the spoiler installed on the trunk?
