got Code P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)

I hope someone has dealth with this before. I looked around the posts, but found nothing immediate.

I just failed emissions because they saw the SES light and didn't even bother checking the exhaust and failed me.

Has anyone fixed this problem? I have a greddy and stillen high-flow intake, but those have been on for years and I just got the SES recently. Perhaps an O2 sensor?? Any suggestions??

COuld be a bad O2 sensor, but could also be a fuel delivery issue... is your MAF ok?

I don't know what could be wrong. Is there an obvious sign when the MAF goes bad? I do notice that if I floor it the car kind of hesitates at some point in the power band during heavy acceleration...I thought that was the side-effect of the greddy and the intake.

btw, noticed that you have a terp logo. I went to College park too!! My father teaches chemistry there. I'll pm you!

Hesitation could be a MAF problem but it could also be a lot of things. Bad ignition coils, fuel delivery (dirty injectors or fuel filter), or MAF could cause that. If an O2 sensor was bad, then it would have triggered a code for that as well, but I wouldn't rule that out.
