Shimmy in steering wheel even after good balance
I had my tires rotated and balanced today. The shop doing it does an excellent job. Now I've got a shimmy in my steering wheel around 55 mph. Is it possible that something is wrong the rim? But wouldn't this have showed up when they balanced the tire?
Thanks,
Matt

Go to a shop that has a Hunter 9700 Road Force Analyzer and have them Road Force the front tires. Not cheap but this machine actually has a roller that pressures the tire/wheel assembly as it's rotating and measures where the tire is imparting unnatural or uneven force against the roadway which is the primary reason for non-balance related shimmy.......
