pics of HKS exhaust install..

well I took my car into the hobby shop to install my exhaust..everything went fairly well, all up into the point where 2 "welded" bolts on the stock muffler became a pain in the arss...a 20 min job turned into a little more than a hour job..but I love this exhaust...deep rumble and not at all "ricey"..heres the pics..
I also took my Stillen rear in to do a fitment..the exhaust is gonna be rubbing the exhaust cutout so Im probably gonna dremel it to fit..

btw Im the one in the yellowish shirt, the other guys are my twin brother and older brother...enjoy..

Nice. How much did you pick up the HKS for? I want to swap out the Greddy exhaust and am trying to determine which one to go for. HKS, MagnaFlow, Cattman....

Wow that looks much nicer than I thought. So you say that there is an issue with rubbing the Stillen kit? How much and where would you have to dremel the kit? Oh and how much did you pay for the rear section?

Looks real nice--If you get a chance could you record what the exhaust sounds like and post it? I'm in the market

Did you guys get a GD on haircuts or what? j/k

The exhaust looks good. Did you have to make any adjustments to make it fit flush and even? Also, it's hard to tell in the pic, but how close does it come to touching the lip?

thanx all for the replies...

blubyu2k2..once again THANK YOU for the great transaction..your the shiz

MacAlert, Igor911..still dont know the size of the tips..Ive searched everywhere and couldnt find, but I'll measure them myself tomorrow..

NuJerseyDrive..you can find the HKS everywhere on the net ranging from $350-$470..the cheapset place I found was here..
http://www.revhighonline.com/page.ph...00000000003122 for $352..

Turismo..I have no way of recording and posting what it sounds like, Im sure there is a thread somewhere here on the .Org that has diff exhaust clips..I know somebody remembers the link

Hamy, Triple8Sol..the Stillen rear actually rubs more on the right, but it is less than a 1/4" to the lip on the left..regardless its gonna have to be custom fitted somehow to not rub, dremel/bending/etc...

Hamy..I picked up the Stillen rear through SWAutoworks, contact Y2KSteve..he'll hook you up, remember to tell him your on the .ORG..awesome service from SWA btw

Seemy2k2go..that wasnt a Zebra Halloween costume, its actually a Zebra printed blanket from Bahrain

Triple8Sol..LMAO about the GD haircuts ..me and my 2 brothers are actually all in the military..hence the same haircuts...

Is that the auto hobby shop at Navsta Norfolk, or out at Little Creek/Oceana? I used to work on my '70 Triumph at Norfolk Navy base hobby shop...damn I wish I could still use the bases for this stuff.

Oh, BTW, the exhaust looks sweeeeet!

Hobby shop huh? That sounds tight...I don't think we have any here in WA...

$2/hr. sounds like a deal. I can only imagine how quick it would be to change your own oil, do exhaust, suspension, brake work...damn...

Very nice exhaust. HKS looks the best IMO. BTW, how much was it and where did you buy it. I heard it's a bit expensive! Any sound clips?

i think mine charges 3 dollars an hr for the lift, but if you want to just jack it up yourslef, stand it on a jack stand, its free, one good thing about being in the military, but other than that, its sucks, they deprive you of everything,
