**Need Help Fast!**
I attempted to take off my headlights to clear them out + put in the DDE's, but they are giving me a hell of a time. I tried pulling the pass. side one, and it didn't give much. I then tried the driver's side, and it only pulled out on the right side so that the holding pin is now out of the holder. B/c it's only out one on end, I can't even get the pin to go back inside the holder to make the light sit right -- and it's supposed to rain tonight.
I have the DataDots Anti-Theft recall done, can someone who has taken out the lights AND had the recall done PLEASE PM me? I realize we're all wary of the theives out there, so please try to PM me as opposed to replying w/exact details here.
Here's what I'm talking about:
(sorry for the huge pic!)

No one has done this? Someone please save me a trip to the dealer tomorrow, I have pics from all angles (behind & under headlight) if someone is willing to help, I'll give them the site address to give a better idea of what needs to be taken off to get this light back in [or out].

Not sure how the "data dots" work, but I've found if you remove from the outside/then inside it's a b!tch.
I'd recommend pushing them back in place, popping the clip holding the grille to the bumper(at least on my 2K1) and then pop out the inside, side closest to grille, BEFORE you pop out the outside as you have now.
Otherwise, it gets kind of stuck.

There's no way to get 'em out at all? Have you seen the brackets that are supposedly installed when you get the recall done? Maybe there's a way to get the brackets out? I was going to but I had no clue it'd be this hard to just take out the brackets the recall puts in so I thought I'd put 'em in when the weather's warmer :|
I'm in eastern PA, so I wouldn't be able to come up. Thanks for the offer though!

Ice...from what I understand, the data dots incorporates a bracket below the housing and the ballasts get relocated lower under or somewhere around the bumper area and that bracket is secured to the bumper, making headlight removal damn near impossible unless u break em out
