Brake and Tranny question (loose)

I just bought a 2000 max 5spd last night unfortnately without much testing beforehand and now that I've driven it a bit I've noticed that I'm having some braking and clutch/tranny problems. I was wondering if anyone can help me out on what the problem might be or if just flushing and changing to some new fluids might work fine?

First off the brakes engage well when coming to stop and I seem to stop just fine but if I continue to put pressure on the brakes they sink all the way down to the floor. I'm hoping it might be air bubbles or fluid levels but I'm afraid it might be the master cylinder. Any suggestions?

The second problem is that the clutch pedal seems to be extremely loose and it has no resistance to it at all. Also it engages really close to the floor (I'd say almost immedaitely off of the floor) Is this common with Maximas because I've never had such a loose clutch before and I've never had a clutch engage so close to the ground.

Finally the transmission doesn't shift smootly between gears. I don't know if this is common with Maximas either but when I go to switch gears it's pretty rough right before I get into gear and there's always a little hesitation engaging the gears. This is felt in the shifter. Also the shifter moves dramtically if I should psuh down the clutch and let off of the clutch while driving. It still stays engaged but moves around quite a bit. I've never had that problem with manuals in the past but my brother and friend who both have Nissans both say that's normal for Nissans.

I plan on flushing and changing the transmission fluid, brake fluid, and oil this week sometime once I figure out what kind is recommended by the people on this board or to some redline and mobil if I can't find some recommendations.

I'm just looking for some advice or reassurance that the tranny and clutch are normal for nissan vehicles before I start some more extensive work than just fluid changes.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
