E-BRAKE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone ever pull the ebrake while taking turns?

In the past few weeks, i started to expierement with my ebrake. I took a few turns and pulled the ebrake. I feel like i'm playing daytona cause my car is drifting all over the place. With practice i started to take my car faster and faster. Its soo much fun. One time, i ebraked on a turn, but i guess there was a bumb in the road. My car bounced and then i spun a 360, with 4 passengers in the car. It was one of the coolest things ever, but the passengers thought otherwise. hehe....

Oh yah, For some odd reason, my ebrake light on my dash turns on at odd times, and won't turn off, even though my ebrake is down. Does warranty cover that??? Its really annoying.

how do U think I got my Sig?

As far as the light on the dash.. check Fluid. Brake fluid may be low causeing the light to turn on sometimes. Also don't do Ebreak too much b/c it'll put flat spots on your tires. I did my Sig on gravel. *** Fault is too rough .. especially dry *** Fault. your tires would have flat spots if U do it too much..

define experimenting

besides the tires and maybe hot spots on rear rotars and Ebreak cable loose no other damage. watchout for the curbs. the weight distribution on the 2K is not vary good. it'll get tale happy on U in a hurry. it either won't slide much or when it does it'll go a little to much.. front wheel drive and light in rear I think is the cause.

Don't they refer to this as "drifting"?

I think he was referring to the e-brake light.... not the brake light...

It is my understanding that everything between your bumpers is covered by warranty (which would include your light)...

Mine's a tad sensitive too.. (if you pick up the e-brake just a bit (before even a click), it goes on... but stays off when pushed ALL the way down... so i don't complain..)

Anyway, e-braking around corners can be dangerous... (obviously... you should know that, cuz you already spun out!!!)... Besides, if you do it on a dry hard surface, you are gonna cause flat spots on your tires... Not cool!!!

-Tom

PS-> I have a feeling that in a week or so, one particular maxima.org member will be posting about :
-> a "thump" sound coming from one or more tires
-> A bent control arm from getting outsmarted by a curb
-> Alignment problems
-> ****ty Nissan Rotors...
-> Advice on purchasing new tires...
etc.

Nice picture... the only question that burns inside of me is..... how many chunks of paint did you find missing after that?? That gravel looks harsh.

I only do it in the rain, at low speed, and not out on the road, just parking lots...
