I have noticed the Exhaust tips on My '02 look a bit old. Has anyone replaced theirs yet on thier 5.5 gen? I would like to clean up the look of my rear with some decent appearing exhaust tips of good quality. Post pics please of what you have done and what and where you purchased them...

most of everybody on the org goes with magnaflow ss tips.

 

What work has to be done to replace these tips? Anyone have pics of what you have?

 

i think you have to cut the stock tips off and weld hte new magnaflow tips on

asu174 has them and they look 100 times better

Forgive my ignorance, but is there an exhaust tip available that gives you a nice mellow sound or is it neccessary to change the entire muffler? I'm not looking for anything real loud, but just something that at least has some sound to it for a little character.

The magnaflow tips that most people are getting welded on don't increase the exhaust sound on your max not one bit. It's all show and a very good one I might add. I personally got the single walled 3" tips and love them.
