advice with dash kit

advice with dash kit

any body have any advice when installing a dash kit? I have one sitting in my basement. just waiting until I have the time to install it. Can you give me any warnings before starting?

make sure you clean the surface real good with 3m wax remover or a similar product.... it'll get off all that grime and make it stick real good... other than that make sure U PUT IT ON STRAIGHT the first time, otherwise it'll be a biatch to adjust later...

Yeah like Jattman said, make sure that the polish, armorall everything is off the dash that you are applying the kit. If it doesnt stick grap a blow dryer and put it on the sticky side of the kit, once its heated up, not too hot, you should be able to apply it again. Enjoy

And don't make the mistake I did and try to install it when it was below freezing out. I had to keep my car running with the heat on trying to warm it up. I ended up using super glue in some areas, it turned out ok.
