PIAA Xtreme White Fog Lights

It seems that about every 6 months or so, the lights are burning out. Rather than keep replacing them at around $30 each, I'm looking for an alternative bulb that comes close to matching the HIDs.

If you could post what bulb brand and type, as well as a link to an online store, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not sure why they keep burning out. The housings are still sealed with no cracks or leaks. They just don't seem to last long.

I dont know if this is relevant, but my I30 has 35w H3 fogs and I bought 55w PIAA Ion crystals (they dont come in 35w.

Does the Max have the same 35w fogs? Are the fogs you are using 55w or higher? Maybe that could be the problem.

I have been wondering about the negative affects of me using a 55w H3. I havent run into any problems yet.

They are 55W stock, but the piaas are as efective as 110W. Mine, for some reason, dont match the HIDs anymore. They look more like stock, they may possibly be about ready to die.

Why the F*** would Nissan use 55w fogs in the Max and 35w in the I30? I guess they just wanted to be a PITA. Sorry I guess Im just bitter that I dont have as many bulb choices.

Is there a good way to upgrade my wiring for better fogs? Are there kits sold for this purpose? I definitely need brighter fogs.

No problems. Did you get the 85W, by any chance?

They have 1 year warranty so you should get PIAA to replace them for you for free.

I used the Xtreme whites for almost 9 months in my 5th gen and by about the 8th month I noticed the color was starting to fade more yellow. They did look better than stock, but not by much.. PIAA bulbs are still the best IMO. Get them from www.optauto.com or from us.
