I just order a set of Xenon H4 for my 2001 Max, I got those at Canadian Tire for 13$ CDN each( 8$ US ) I think it is pretty cheap and I will hopefully see if there good or crap later this week.

How much did you pay for your replacement bulb ?

Don't remember the price, but I'm happy with the Plasmas.

Hey edadams, there is so many brended name & type ie ( PIAA, Plasma , halogene, Xenon, Cool Blue ) does Xenon = Plasma or ?. I'm a bit confused about those light, it's one area that I did not made a research ( free time is rare for me ) to learn a bit about, that's why I am trying to get real people experiences.

do you guys lose high beam like us 4th gens, with HIDS

 

I would suggest the PIAA H4 Plasma's. I bought mine for 74.99 and put them in myself (install time: 4 minutes) They look very close to real HID like in MB's and Bmw's. My lights seem to be about 20% brighter than the stock white ones. my advice

True Xenon lights cost lots of $$$ and don't have filaments. The rest are just replicas. Some come very close though.
