Finally shaved Max's butt

Been thinkin bout it for a while, finally got out my "tools" and took off a couple rear emblems. I'm now deciding if I want to make the emblems gold and put em back on. I like the gold edition Maximas (seen very, very few) but I like the shaved look too. Well anyways, here's a pic, dont want the thread to be worthless

DO NOT put gold emblems on there. it will ruin the classy look. keep shaved or silver emblems but not GOLD!

never seen a gold edition maxima? it looks real nice... pretty nice on white, awsome on black. but thats from the factory with the gold plating, not just spray paint or somethin. I think i'm just gonna keep it shaved - it was a pain to get all the crap off, might as well leave it off!

Triple8Sol, I used a hairdryer, floss, and some bug and tar remover to de-goo.

i used a plastic gym membership card (kinda like a credit card) to get the emblems off, then my fingernails to get the glue stuff off. Nothin like some good ol elbow grease!

After gettin the emblems off, and most of the sticky stuff with your fingernail, what specific paint-safe products have you guys used to get off the rest of the "goo"

Definately don't throw them back on in Gold. It'll look lousy with the chrome hamburger. Ya gotta coordinate.
