I was driving home....all 3 lights turned on in my Max....
WTF ! The car runs fine, no problem. I know TCS is not working, because I floored it at a light and smoked my tires.....The only times its done this , is at a Dyno....then wonce you roll on it for a few minutes, it would turn off.........Any ideas what it would be ?

Try pulling your codes. Might have a minor code that doesn't trip the CEL.Originally Posted by kloogy

Must've been the TEIN's!
j/p......Im guessing crank sensor. Or the tech forgot to replace/connect something when re-doing your tranny. Take it back and get it checked out. Peace_

This is doing to be one of two things. Either an issue with an ABS speed ring on the driveshafts, or the speedgear in your transmission is faulty. When it gets faulty readings such as tranny says its going 35 and the shaft is saying its going 55, this will happen. Need to test to see what part is bad, probably the speedgear in the tranny.

When I bought my car these 3 lights were also on. Brought it to Nissan prior to buying it and they replaced all coils. This fixed the problem/lights.Originally Posted by kloogy

You probably messed up one of the ABS sensors during the Tein install. All three of those rely on the ABS systems ability to read the wheel sensor.
Check those out SOON, you never know when you might need them.

Hmmm maybe it is the stickers or aftermarket wing ? ( sorry I had to say it )
Probably on the Tein install as mentioned. Go back to the shop you got them installed. If you didn't go to the shop you got what you paid for plain and simple.

Im guessing its one of the ABS sensors...now how do I figure out which one it is , without paying the dealer 100 bucks to tell me ....

I'd pull off your wheels, it's probably pretty obvious, ie cut wire, broken sensor, or loose.
Try looking first.

The same 3 lights have been on since the last 2-3 weeks, sometime when I start the car it goes off but it eventually come back. I have serious doubt that it is the ABS & TCS that are wrong, because in the few occasion that the light disapear, I step hard on the brake to see if the ABS was working and it was I also checked the TCS and it was working too, so the problem is not there cuz those lights are thrown by the ECU, can bad coils trigger all this ? I think this is the question we want to answer, tommorow I will plug my ODB II consul to see if I can get rid of the 3 lights, I'll let you know.

WTF do these lights have Anything to do with a bad install? How could isntalling them "wrong" have any conflict on ABS/TCS/SLIP lights? This would be an issue with the electrical system or the tranny like Dixit mentioned. Not a spring that just pops in.
I'm not saying actual strut/shock and spring have ANYTHING physically to do with it.
Just that during the install, the ABS sensor/wire on the hubs *MIGHT* have been cut/pinched/damaged and is worth checking out BEFORE going to a dealer.

Dude, pull your codes. AutoZone does it for free. The codes might tell you which sensor is malfunctioning. Not all codes trip the CEL.Originally Posted by kloogy
