i need help on where to find a rear 02 simulator for my 2k1 max i just got my custommaxima.com y-pipe and the will be removing the pre cat so to keep my ses light off i will need a simulator, does anyone know where to find this, please help

you will not need a simulator. just plug the o2 back in. if you did not damage the sensor then the removal of the 2nd precat will not trip the light. i along with many other 2k1 and 2k cali spec have used aftermarket y pipes with no issues of the the precat missing and setting the cel off. if you have an o2 downstream from the main cat and remove that then you are assured of the cel coming on.

 

No need for a O2 sim, I have a Ypipe on my car- for last 70+K miles and no check engine light. If U install headers then U will most likely need 02 sensor sims to get rid of the CEL, I'm going to see if I can get away without a simulator 1st when I install my headers.

 

thanks guys but let me explain a little more, the y pipe comes with 3 holes for 02 sensors, i hae 4 sensors and 3 cats installing the y pipe removed the cat for bank 1 but not for bank 2 so i got a manifold off a 98 max to remove the front or bank 2 cat, now the light is on and i already have to rewire the rear sensors so i think it will be easier to just get or even make a simulator. does anyone know how or where to buy?

This is the one I have, it will simulate (2) o2's as well. Haven't installed yet just got it today but it does have wiring setup for Maxima.
