Greasy stuff on headlight connectors

Anyone know what that stuff is on the connectors of the headlight harness is, where the prongs of the bulbs plug into?
Do we leave that grease there or do we wipe it off when we change bulbs?

if you do wipe it off then be sure to put some more on. its bulb grease and it helps keep out moisture from corroding. it makes it alot easier to pull off to since it builds up heat in the bulb. you can get some from any local parts store and its cheap.
