I just got a 2002 Maxima SE auto.

Anybody know what kinda times I should expect out of this car?
I was told by some ricer that the car runs in the mid 14s but i think he is smoking crack.

Im thinking more along the Mid 15s is what im thinking.

What are some easy and possibly free Mods fo this car?

 

Check out the 1/4 mile time forum for times of various 5th genners. For a few nearly free "mods":
1. Fog light rewire
2. Clear HIDs
3. Rear window wind noise fix
4. Clean out the in cabin filter
5. Remove dealer sticker!

Better yet, y dont you add a Cold Air intake into your car. I have a 2002-2003 Maxima Injen Cold Air Intake for sale. comes with all parts needed as well as two filters (1 injen filter and 1 aftermarket blitz filter). asking $160 shipped. let me know if ya want it as your first mod. its in GREAT CONDITION!!!

To answer the guys question, a good running Auto 5.5th gen should do 14.70 at 93-94mph, with optimal weather, launch.

When people are asking about intakes....LOOK at the places where i posted about my intake....I seriously dont see what i did wrong when someone is asking about an intake, so i tell them about mine. Is there a rule about asking people looking for a certain part if they want mine? Is that so wrong? EVERYSINGLE POST THAT I POSTED IN was about intakes...so if you want to power trip and ban me....thats fine! I just dont see what i did wrong. ITS A FORUM...forums are meant for me to talk in...

Yea free man. There are a few for my truck so i wthought maybe there would be some for my max as well. Like a throttle body heater bypass. that one is free. Wait no its not. It cost me 4 bucks for clamps and a piece of hose

 

When you have a total of 46 posts and you make 10 of them only about selling your CAI, then I say you are not contributing anything useful to the .org. There is a CLASSIFIEDS forum for that exact reason. This is not the right place to ***** up every thread about selling something. Would you like to explain to me what valuable knowledge you are imparting to people here by posting that you have a CAI for sale? If someone specifically asks 'where can I buy one', then you can say... "I have one for sale, check classifieds" but posting in every thread about intakes is not useful at all.
