got a powertech muffler. this isnt going to bolt on is it? i think i am going to have to get it welded on. it would be great if it bolted on. i never crawled under the car. if it does need to be welded, any recomendations? thanks.

you could tell the guy to putt on some bulting on it ..

a what? You can probably have the guys at a muffler shop put a flange on the end so you can bolt your muffler on or off when/however you feel like.

Is muffler shop the best way to go, or a bodyshop. Sounds like it would be expensive to have them put a flange on the original and replacement muffler. What do you think it would run me?

Well since you are installing a muffler and not a kit....... go to the muffler shop. Having them put a flange in won't be expensive. The muffler shop will have to weld on hangers to mount the PT as well.
