White Wheels on White Maxima

Any suggestions for white wheels i've exhausted myself looking for months. I want a 18x8 or 19x8 white wheel with a decent lip any suggestions. Its really hard to find a wheel that fits these specs. I dont want a wheel that looks too race like. more simple 4 or 5 spoke. in sum a good sized clean smooth looking white wheel. I appreciate any assistance whether it be suggestions or critizism.

Nissan offered a white package on the SE around the '87 model year that included white rims. I worked with a guy back in 88 that had an 88 SE exactly like what I am speaking of. Looked hot. I think it still holds true, that it will look very hot and yet clean. I have also imagined white calipers on a white max. I bet that would look great as well.

I was gonna get Motegi MR7's in white...

but then I figured how quickly they'll get dirty with brake dust.. and I dont clear most of the car washes around here so they'd be only a summer thing for me, but thats not gonna happen.

there's a 3rd gen around UConn that is white and has the white wheels. I dont particularly like the look. I'm picky about wheels, mainly like 5 spoke polished look, similar to stock. Kloogy's rims are a good example

I scrape my undercarriage at car washes. I'm running on B&G springs and 15" sawblades with no kit and I scrape the metal wheel thing that guides you into the car washes. So have to either was the car myself during the summer or when its cold out, I go to a place where they wash it by hand. White rims would suck, they'd be dirty all the time.

please don't....I saw 3 civics with white wheels today, and none of them looked good, all three were ricers....the only cars around here with white wheels are hondas with crappy body kits, oil can exhaust, and huge wings....

If you MUST get white wheels, though, the first one Igor posted is the best, I suppose.

Here are pics of my good friends Accord. I think you could pull the white/white look but only if you are slammed with a kit. White wheels are really a pain in the butt to keep clean. Anyhow....I dont see the white/white combo looking any better than this Accord:

I'm 28...I live off Burke Rd right across from the VRE station. Soonerfan (jason) is around the same age...Juki is a 4th-genner and I think he's like 17 or 18....like I said, go say hi in the DC-area forum...

as to the original question - yeah the accord looks nice with the rims, but an accord is not a maxima. Accord you can get away with it, maxima not so much, in my "personal" opinion...

You can find out alot about a person by hitting their "profile" button....see I can see you are about to turn 18, you probably live in Cardinal Forest, and go to West Springfield HS. am i right?

by the way, when's the last time any of you raced your maxima?

to me, the white on white looks better than black wheels on a white maxima.

ok I gotta admit that your car looks pretty sweet with the white. I think that's because the rest of the car is so clean, so the white rims don't look ricey on yours. Put white rims with body kit and wing and all that **** then it looks ricey.

btw what does racing have to do with white rims? Do they make you faster? if that's the case, I'm getting some tomorrow!

is that a 914? I once raced one of those at an SCCA auto-x event about 10 years ago in my triumph gt6!

In my opinion, white rims are played out but you really can't go wrong with white Volk TE37's. My neighbor has that on his white M3. It looks pretty good but I'm more of a gunmetal person...

I'm thinking of going with 19" white wheels with a polished lip, but if I do then I'm gonna spray them with white pearl & clearcoat them so the exactly match the color of the paint. Otherwise no white wheels because they look too different from our Pearl white paint color...

my opinion:
White on white car > chrome on white car

is it "ricey"...does it really matter? 95% of this board is littered with ricers in denial. Even the ones who call others ricers, are into the "looks fast" image.

just don't put black wheels on a white maxima.

i fixed that for ya.

i think one day my Maxima may step foot on a track again. I'll probably even drag race it once.

but, it's too slow...and doesn't have the amount of safety equipment as the "race kaa"
