Punched Out Catalatic Converter
Well, I Punched Out The Cat In My 2000 Se And Have Had The Ses Light Ever Since. It Seems The O2 Sensor Doesn't Like It. Does Anyone Know If There Are Any Simulators To Fix This Problem Or Have A Cheap Stock Cat For Sale. Right Now I Have A Straight Racing Pipe On It With The Same Problem. Please Any Help Will Be Appreciated.

Try turning the CAPS LOCK key off.
If you don't have any O2 sensors after the cat, I don't see how punching out a cat or putting in a test pipe would throw a code. If you have a O2 sensor after the cat, then I would see how it would throw a code since there is some residual fuel in the exhaust for the cat to use.
Don't buy a cat from the Stealer. There's a Magnaflow cat on ebay for $58.

i have FED spec and have a sensor right after the cat. ive been thinking about the punchout but was worried.
talked to my buddy at the service dept today about it and "the light will come on, but that is it. ecu WILL NOT CHANGE fuel/air mixture like a bad front sensor will. unplug the battery and the light will go off and store the code"

gutting the cat does wonders for turbo cars... hardly any gain with NA.
just don't punch out the new cat you get.
you could also go to midas, see if they'll weld one on for ya (ask them to weld it to your stock brackets)
