Y Pipe Emission Question

I recently bought a Cattman Y pipe for my 01 Cali Spec Se and my question is will I still pass emissions? I live in Chicago and over here they hook up the car's computer to their's and it tells them which sensors aren't working..Therefore it can pin point any problems...I plan to install this y pipe on Thursday, but before I do I wanted to make sure I will be passing emissions. I know the tests vary in state to state but I wanted to make sure y pipe won't set off any lights or sensors..Let me know thanks..

not sure about cali/fed specs, but for mine (49 state model cattman y for 03), emissions should be normal once the car has warmed up.

true
the primary cat cant start working until it warms up so the precats are there. smaller and closer to engine so they warm up right away.
so cold, you will fail emmisions. warm it up first

Do peeps in cali pass? I haven't talked to anyone from Chicago (where I'm from) who has been tested with a Y pipe on their maxi..The city is strict on emissions now..

cali spec cars should pass too since the diffirence is the 2 extra 02 sensors on the exhaust manifold. the cats are all the same.
why dont you go try it out for everyone

The question is, with the Y-pipe precats removed, do those extra O2 sensors report catalyst ineffiencies to the ECU?
