Help? ABS light on.

I recently had to put a spare on because my tire went flat and the ABS light came on. Is this normal? I was wondering if I should be concerned.

Also on another note, my tire had a bulge on the sidewall and it popped at that site. I was wondering if Continental tires had some kind of warranty and if they do, how hard it is to claim warranty on it. What is the process? I have the Continental ContiSportContacts 225/45/18. It kind of seems like a waste to buy one tire, but then I don't want to replace the entire set since they're still pretty good.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did the light stay on or was it just on briefly? Have you replaced the tire yet or are you still on the spare? In regards to the tires, we may need a bit more information to help you out with this part as well. If you were the one who purchased them and you are seeing a bulge, I would think you could go back to where you got them and ask them about replacement possibilities/options. If you are not the purchaser of the tires, I'd say you should be ok to buy just one depending on how much tread-life you have on the other three.
Good luck.

The light was one the entire trip home which was probably about 10 miles. I still have the spare on, but haven't driven around in the car. I'm going in to get the tire replaced tomorrow and it's going to cost me a whopping $203.

I guess there's no point in seeking warranty since I wasn't the one who purchased the tires. I thought it would be worth a try, but since I ordered the tire, I guess there's no point. Hopefully, the ABS light was on because of the spare. We'll see tomorrow after the installation

Let us know how it turns out. $203 for one? Try Discount Tire, may be a bit cheaper.
