Buying a Maxima

Buying a Maxima
Obviously I'm new here, but this seems like the place to ask this question. I am currently interested in buying either a 00 or 01 Maxima and it has to be a manual. Can anyone give me a reason not to buy this car? I would love to have the 20th Anniversary but do not really know if it is all that much better than the normal one, considering price. Also, doesn't seem to be many manuals on the market.
Any info or opinions anyone can offer would be great.

i'll give you a reason not to buy this car: if you buy it, all you think about is driving, modding, racing, talking about it. You forget about school, work, your girlfriend. All of a sudden, the only friends you have are maxima related friends. You treat owner of nicer cars like they drive shyt. and yes, it has to be a manual. It's great car!
Good luck with your purchase!

Go for a 2002. It happens to me all the time. I purchased a 1994 Z28 with 275 hp to later find out that the 1998 & up have 310 hp. When I purchased my 2000 Maxima last year, I later found out that 2002-2003 Maxima have much nicer rims, much nicer stereo system, much nicer headlights (hids) and a way much nicer 3.5 255hp engine (compared to the 3.0 222hp) plus an optional 6 speed maunal tranny. Something to think about....
