Lowering max

Just thinking about lowering my 2003 Max se around a 1'' at all corners, as I have to put on winter rims and tires in winter. What would be the best way to do that ie springs shocks what brand . My winter tires are 16 inch but higher profile side wall . If I can drop lower lwith those tires let me know as there seems to be a lot of people that dropped theirs on here.

Thanks Burton

Try Eibachs. They drop it just over an inch in the front and exactly an inch in the rear.

Burton I got maxspeeds with GR2's i'll be sellin real shortly (as soon as my JIC's get installed)

the drop is conservative but there...

eibachs claim a weak drop but they drop the 2k2 pretty low and they are very stiff and very uneven

Here's some food for thought: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html

You can drop more than 1". Your winter tires at 16" shouldn't pose any rubbing issues unless you try going past 2".

once again I'm gonna butt heads with you on this one....

why dont you stop mag racing and realize that:

1) eibach drops lower than advertised
2) maxspeeds drop lower than advertised
3) progress only drop low because they are a 4TH GEN spring being used on a 5th gen car
