Can someone tell me wat type of foglights the 2k maxima uses. Is it the H3 55W and i want to know how to install them cuz the manual doesnt show u. And since there is no clear corners for the 2k maxima does anyone know where to get white or red bulbs for the blinkers. Finally I was wonderin how the mileages r for the all the new 2k maxima. So far im gettin pretty crappy EPA for my maxima, only gettin around 20 for drivin both freeway and local !!!!!
Thanks ~

aight
i went through hell installing fog light bulbs in my 2k max.
i had to get help from russ and kev.
but here we go
if this doesn't help message me on aim and i'll see what i can do.
aight climb under the front end of your car.
remove all these little black plastic screws and some reular screws.
this should allow the front splash guard to come off
look under the foglight
there should be one screw.
take that out.
then force the whole fog light unit out.
replace the bulb just like the headlight.
then do reverse steps and you should be set.
don't forget the replace the screws =)

it is NOT hard at all...and btw, the 'corners' can be cleared on a 2k max, but the blinkers within the headlight are already cleared, so i would suggest getting a chromed amber bulb to stay legal and retain the clear look..

Fog Lights

My fogs are not working, the i am checked all fuses and im getting current all the way up to the relay under the hood, I am guessing it might be because one of the fog bulbs is burnt out. Any feedback????

What's your point that this thread is from 2000? Foglights are still the same, right?

My point was that the discussion had ended 5 years ago and it appeared to be a pointless bump saying "That dosent sound too difficult" but then again, maybe you were trying to accomplish something, maybe not, that's why I asked...

the problem is...since nothing happens in the 6th gen forum, you come in here just to post ***** and talk ****. you dont have a single helpful post in the 5th gen forum.
