HID high/low beam bulbs

just installed my HIDs and re-aimed them for better visability. but, is there an H4 bulb available with both high beams and low beams? i'd like some more visability when there's no one else on the road but me, but all i can find is complete kits for $500+ . if there is a way i can get this done for under a hundred, please help me out. thanks.

The link does not work, just check on www.ebaymotors.com And goto P&A, then goto lights & lamp and search for HID h4 kit.!!!!!!!!! That will work!!!!!!!

thanks for the link, but those are the complete conversion kits i was trying to avoid. i already have philips HID's installed with H4 7500K bulbs. these are single beam bulbs, and i'd like a dual beam system. thanks though.

Try calling the one that has the price for $364. He might have just the bulbs. His number is 917-532-6836. Give it a try????

There is no such thing as a dual beam HID. Thats a lie, BMW and Mercedes have Bi Xenon headlighs (as does the 04 maxima coincientally). The tradeoff of going the HID route with H4's is that you lose the high beam, but with HIDs you dont really need them. You might wanna invest in some PIAA driving lights or something and wire those up as your high beams.

Something to watch out for when you buy one of these "dual beam" H4 kits. I had one on my 2000 in my AE headlights. The kit was put together by HID Plus, 7500k kit. There are 2 types of dual beam hid kits out there that i know of. Theres the ones that have the shield on the bulb that moves, and the ones where the bulb itself moves. The kit I had was one where the shield moved to enable the high beam, but it did not work because of the way the housing is designed on the 2k-2k1 headlights and the shield could not move freely. Just lettin ya know what wont work.

There are instructions included with the kit. You can mount them wherever you can fit them (and are willing to drill). Then, you can aim them in essentially any direction you want.

Don't bother with the hid shield. I had a set with the reflector that pivoted down to expost the bulb to the lower part of the housing so it could reflect to the sky but it doesn't even provide a good flash to pass. GO with an aftermarket set of lamps.

I liked them also. They just didn't have enough high beam action. The low beams, however, shine better than my 2k3 hid's. I think it is because of the large housings on the 2k's. Whatever the case is , did you get the email that I sent you regarding how to adjust your headlights?

FYI, I paid over $550.00 for the lights that you now have and they are less than 1 year old, so you got a pretty good deal. I had so many people bugging me for the lights after I sold them to you. I'm glad that they worked out for you. Have you thought of retrofitting some aux lights to help out with the highbeams?

yeah they're working great. thinking about putting in bulbs for high beams, but i fine tuned the adjustment of the lights a bit last night, and i'm pretty happy with it the way it is now. thanks for the emails. i also put in PIAA Super Plasma fogs and aimed them a bit higher so i get more visability that way too. i'm ver happy with the lights. thanks again for the great deal.
