I had wheel locks on my integra with the factory 15" aluminum rims, and never had them stolen, but it could be that nobody wanted 'em.
Wheel locks are move of a deterrant, as is an alarm system, etc. If someone is determined enough to get what you have, they're going to find a way to get it.
For the money, I would definitely get them if you're worried about your rims getting jacked. I'm not saying they're guaranteed, but it'll be a lot harder for someone to just walk up with a lug wrench and take them.
Also, if you get them, DO NOT KEEP THE LUG KEY IN THE CAR. I've known people who have done it, and thieves will usually break into the car when they take your rims, they go through everything and are likely to find it. If you have to keep it in the car, make sure it's a GOOD hiding place.
Also, don't get cheap wheel locks... you get what you pay for.
