Foglight rewire DRLs
Foglight rewire DRLs
My car has DRLs so it would probably be pointless to do a rewire if they are going to be on with the fogs. Does anyone know how these two would interact?

OK, maybe my thread needs some translation:
DRL stands for Daytime Running Lights
My car is equipped with these so I'm afraid how doing the foglight rewire will interact with these. The whole idea of having the rewire is to have the fogs on and only the fogs. If I still have the DRLs on while the fogs are on it eliminates the purpose of the rewire.
Now I must redirect to my original post.
There is no rewire available that will allow just the fogs on without having the running lights on aswell. In the current rewire posts people are taking the wire that switches on the fog relay and splicing it into the tail lights. So when you flip on any lights whether being the headlights and running light the fogs will come on too. Since you're supplying the relay with power to switch them on.
The only way to just get your fogs on would be to remove your running bulbs or run a seperate wire to the relay and have a seperate switch inside the car to flip them on and off.
Hope this helps.
