looks like a deal to me......a bad one.
That doesn't look like a "grille kit" as much as it looks like two strips of chrome-plated plastic that sticks on the grill slats with ghetto double-sided tape....just my 2 cents.

 

i say it will look good with chrome door handels

Looks like the 350Z kit. Except the Z grill chrome kit uses real chrome.

 

For 20 bucks go for it.

 

Save your self 15 bucks and go to wal mart and get those door edge guard strips and just press them onto the slats in your grill. It still be ghetto.....for less.

 

If they were wider, they'd look nice, because they'd look like the grill of the 02s and 03s. Otherwise...it's really, really stupid.

That said, anybody know where I can buy wider strips for my grill? I'm going to pickup those projector lights for my 01 that everyone's raving over, and I want the grill to match and resemble the 02 grill.

Any help would be nice.

The grilles are different from 00-03. If you want a nice grill, get the JMS Products or a Trenz. Save your $20 and put 1/2 a tank of gas in your car.

 

I have a dent on the driver's side of my bumper anyway (some ***** hit the car when my older brother was driving it). I guess instead of paying to fix it, I may as well just see how much a 02 front would run me.

BTW: You wouldn't happen to have an idea, would you? Can I get that done in the first place (replace the front bumper/grill of my car with that of a 2002's front)?

 

I guess you are right. I e-mailed the guy who is selling the chrome strips on eBay and asked him if he had another pic of the grille with more detail. He just sent me a zoomed version of the same picture. Looks worse because of the resolution. If someone is so shady about the details of a product, its probably crap.
So, thanks for your input.

 

yeah, sounds like a bad deal to me. Quality is definitely lackluster at best. Go buy a cd-at least you'll enjoy it.

i think this looks 10X better than the trenz grille or the mesh crap.. those are way more tacky than this. This is a good alternative for 00-01's..

also.. i attempted to do something similar, call it ghetto if you want but it looks good IMHO. However, i couldn't cut the tape out in exact strips..

i would have to see this thing up close, to see if those pieces are cut out carefully and are wide enough to go over the entire part of each of the grille bars..
but if it is cut out perfectly, i wouldnt mind dropping 20 bucks on this.

"THEKNITE" has this done and i think it looks great.
i just couldn't cut out the chrome vinyl perfectly..

that is way better than cutting out your stock grille to get the Trenz in, never to return to stock because 00-01 grille is 1 piece with the bumper.. and i think the mesh looks stupid strapped over the grille, especially from upclose..

 

I wish they had wider strips so it looks more like the grill from the 02s.

The look okay but I can't see the pic very clearly. If they were thicker, they probalby look better.

 

Those are only chrome strip with double side tape that you can purchase in any autozone or else!!

I've read reviews on this on another seller and people were mostly all saying that
