Somehow my drivers side window tint has a thin 5 inch scratch on it and i was wondering what should/could be done about that? Is there any type of tool or kit to repair the tear or do i need to just have that window re-tinted?

 

Use a Sharpie!

 

you can't repair tint.

 

Gotta' remove the film, and re-tint it.

 

I'm sure if you go to your local tint shop they should be able to re-tint that one window for a fairly decent price, most likely the same cost or less than a tint repair kit you mentioned. Give that a shot.
