I hate to ask the obvious question but have you checked the battery in your remote to make sure that it's not dead? If you take it to a dealer, they may do it at no charge but chances are that if your car is out of warranty that they'll charge you the standard $75 fee to program them. I'd test the battery first and see what happens. If you're lucky that's all that is wrong with it and you'll save yourself money and time. If it's not the battery and you need to purchase another remote, you can buy them online via EBAY for about $25-30 dollars. They are very easy to program. If you do a search, you'll find a write-up on this site. I had to reprogram my second remote and it only took about 5 minutes at the most. Very easy if you follow the instructions. Anyways, hope this helps.

Luck
