I really love this car, but... after two threads on a stalling problem in park & neutral that seems connected to a dirty throttle and/or MAF (not yet cleaned), last night the SES light came on. Today, Autozone revealed a P0430 and cleared it. No other codes. There's a TSB on a P0420 code that is often cleared without need for repairs. Does this TSB apply to a P0430, like it does on some Infiniiti models? One last question. I have 72,000 miles keeping in mind that the federal warranty on the catalytic converter expires at 80,000. If the error code is connected to a bad catalytic converter, do I disconnect the battery to remove the MAF to access the throttle body for cleaning even if it will erase the PCM's memory, or do I just take it to the dealer and let them untangle this at the risk of several hundred dollars and what I think will be a recommendation to change all the o2 sensors?

 

0420 is the Bank 1 sensor. 0430 is the Bank 2 sensor. Have the dealer reflash it immideatly before you run out of warranty.
