Here's the situation:
I purchased a set of 2k2 hids and the seller when ahead and gave me the 2k2 tails too for free. Right now, I have the 00 GXE red colored tail lights. I have been debating whether I should install the 2k2 or simply just keep the 00 GXE tails. Suggestions welcomed

 

Personally i would go with the 2k2 taillights. I dont like the taillights that come on the GXE.

 

pablo, iwas in the same boat as u....just paint em, they look a lot better and u'll pay less than 30 bux

 

I would go with the 2k2 tail light, personally, they look better than just all red. That's another reason why I have a SE.

 

No, I don't want to paint nothing. I don't like those SE tails (black). Its either 2k2 tails or keep my 00 GXE tails. I like both.

 

If you don't want to paint them, use 2k2s

well the SE lights looks better with the black and red .But you said you don't like SE.So go for 2k2 chrome and red .

I like the '02 tails. The all red tails bother me.

I would go with the black tails, personally. But if you aren't interested in doing that, I guess I would go with the 2k2 tails. I'm not voting though, because I don't like either of them.

 

Guess its 16 to 1. I thought about it and I'm going with the 2k2 chrome tails. Its just every time a see a 2k2-2k3 maxima, I think about how they would look on mine. Don't get me wrong, the 2k tails are cool but I guess I just want to change it up a bit. Thanks everyone for all your votes. PEACE

 

I hope the 2k2 tails came with the harness because when i wanted to buy the all chrome ones they told me it was made for the 2k2 2k3 and that i would need to change my harness for the bulbs to fit. Its faily cheap they said at the dealer but just wanted to give you a heads up on what you can expect.

 

Slap on the 2k2 tails. They'll be a better match to the HIDs and to your white max.

 

They didn't come with the harness. I just order some from jerry rome nissan. They some promotion of 30% off so both came out to $27 instead of $40. Thanks RIP

 

Whatever you choose to do with the tails, use the rest of ur mod money add lowering springs to the wish list PLEASE

 

Yeah, I'm not voting either in protest to the blatant discrimination against the black framed tail lights by not even having a spot on the poll. But if you want my OPINION, keep the red ones you have... the clear tails are a lil to yuppie rice rocket for me...

 

Changed my 2000 GXE from the red to the 2002 clear; looks MUCH better on the gold. Sold the 2000 lights on E-bay.

Oh, they were on the wish list, now they are on the installation list. I bought kloogy's maxspeeds a few weeks back.

I'm going with the 2k2 lights, but now I need hew harnesses, which are in backorder, but will get soon. Thanks evryone for your votes.
