Vibration through out the car

Hi,

I have a 2002 Nissa Maxima SE. It has about 35000 miles. I bought it 6 months ago at 27000 miles. Initially, I didn't feel the vibration. But for the last few months, I am feeling some vibrations at idle. After I start the car or for example, when I am at a stop light, the car idles at around 500-600 RMP. I don't see the tech moving but I feel a vibration through the steering wheel, through the sits.

Cars of this level are very smooth. You can barely tell whether the engine is running or not. But in my car, you feel the vibration.

Although I haven't done the 30K miles servicing yet, ( I will be getting that done end of this month)but that shouldn't cause this sorf of vibration.

I called up the local dealership (Austin, TX) today. I was told it could be the motor mount or transmission mount thats causing the vibration. I suspected as much. I will be taking the car in for checkup on Monday. Thought I post this thread and find out whether anyone else encountered this problem. I have a thousand miles left before the factory warranty runs out, I hope the dealership will be able to get it fixed. As for purchasing extended warranty, what are some of the companies that you guys recommend.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

regards,
ebc322

Yah, something has to be wrong with your throttle cable if your idle rpms are at 5000. Check your idle cable, if thats not it then i have not clue.

2K2 up don't have throttle cable. They use drive by wires.
