i went to the dealer today and he didnt really know what i was talking about
what is that part that is missing like????
i had troubles explaining to him
i told him the part numbers and i told the service guy about mud in my gas filling department and he told me to call a 1800 number for nissan canada...
can anyone tell me what that part looks like??

 

Dude,

Two suggestions...

First, if you read the other thread on this (Manufacturing Flaw - Must read for 2001 Maxima Owners) you will find a description in the first message (scroll down to where I say "Bottom Line").

Second, go out to the showroom or out on the lot at your Nissan dealer until you find a Max that has it. You'll know it the minute you see it.
