recommend me a muffler!

Hey guys,

I am real psyched here:
Just ordered the new hotshot headers!! I'll have them within a few weeks. RIght now on my catback setup, all i have is a resonator-less warped speed bpipe. I can't really afford to go with the cattman setup now, but I'd like to get a nice muffler setup to complement my new gear.

I want a deep powerful sound, from what i understand the powertech 1010 is really loud. Any comments here?

PowerTech PT1012 or 1011 if you want smaller tips. I highly recommend it.

If you get a powertech, with headers, and no resonator...It will be LOUD ! I had a y pipe with the same setup you have, and my powertech for a month or so, and I couldnt stand the noise......

Isn't it the case though that the OEM muffler is the only "2-stage" muffler that keeps the backpressure higher at lower RPMs? Any aftermarket mufflers with this design?

Kloogy;

did you pull the ypipe out? Do you still with this with the greddy setup you just did, and how do they sound together (if you do of course : ])

I sold my y pipe over a year ago.....My greddy is a LOT quieter than my Warpspeed, no res - Powertech setup.

you have me thinking to get a resonator installed in the bpipe : /

I don't want it to sound real obnoxious. I just wanted something like what the FC setup sounds like (stock but a little deeper)

Maybe I just answered my own question hehe. It looks like i'm on a tax return spending spree here!
