im getting a y pipe for my 2000 SE and i need to know if my car is a california speck or federal speck. how do i tell which one i have? thanx!
as per another member's post a while ago...
1. pop open ur hood
2. look at the rear firewall
3. find the metal plate
4. check the code # that somewhat matches what's below...(NOT the VIN)
5. if ur Second-to-last character is a V == Cali..otherwise, it's a Fed

Also, in front of the exhaust manifold there are some wiring harnesses. The feds have 3 of them and the Cali has 4. They are for the O2 sensors.
